What is the minimum age my child can play?
A. Your child can play is they are at least 4 years old on July 31 of the fall season. If you are signing up for the spring season their age is determined by their age as of July 31 of the previous year.

What is the maximum age my child can play?
A. We have several players that are age 14 by July 31 of the fall season.

How are seasons designated?
A. A Season is considered fall and spring. For example, one season is Spring 2021 and Fall 2021.

What rules do you play by?
A. We are affiliated and governed by the rules of play set by South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA). The main thing that might change is the number of players on a team in an age group. This is adjusted based on the number of players that have signed up. You can visit STXSOCCER.ORG to view all rules and regulations.

How much is the registration fee?
A. Registration cost $150.00 for the first player you register and $140.00 for all other players you register. Players must be related (brother/sister) and from the same household.

What does the Registration fee cover?
A. The registration fee covers the registration fee TVYSA has to pay for each player in our system along with their uniform, which consists of a jersey, shorts, and 1 pair of socks.

What do parents need to purchase for their soccer player(s)?
A. Each player needs to have a ball, shin guards, and soccer cleats. (Cleats will be checked by referee prior to every game. If a player is not wearing soccer cleats, the player will not be able to participate in the game).

What size ball does my player need?
A. U6-U8 will need a size 3 soccer ball.
    U10-U14 will need a size 4 soccer ball.
    U15+ will need a size 5 soccer ball.

When and where are practices?
A. Practice days and times are set by the coaches who volunteer. Most coaches practice at the Soccer Field on Sawmill Road.

How do I register?
A. You can register simply by clicking here. (SPRING REGISTRATION IS PENDING MORE INFORMATION)

If I have questions or concerns that my coach is unable to answer, who do I contact?
A. You can contact the commissioner for your age group. Commissioner information can be found on the Board of Directors tab.

My child has played with TVYSA before but I signed up in person and completed a paper registration form. Do I need to create a new account?
No, you do not need to create a new account. You can do 1 of the following:
1. You can do a username and password recovery.
2. You can contact the TVYSA Registrar who can send you your username.
3. You can contact GotSoccer by Clicking Here Be sure to include your player's name, DOB, and the club name, TVYSA. They will then send you the username and password that was created generically for your player(s)
